I have a thing for drippy stuff, as you probably may have noticed. As well as brightly coloured hair and can't-tell-gender characters. As long as I'm drawing anything, it's fine for me. o.o

Tbh, it's just the low quality of a .gif file.

When large images are animated [see the tiny ''animation'' the heart does?] all the frames simply get grainy. The colours get compressed. Usually the grain is not visible, `cos we're used to see tiny animated icons. But on big stuff it just shows. o.o Tbh2 I also like the effect, so I have no problems with the ''low quality''. :'D
And the effect can be created with noise as well, just have to tweak this and that here and there, if my memory recalls right. o.o
