Pardon my awkwardness, one can't help it.



Mah first little personal exhibition happened a little while ago. :dummy:

It's a start. I'm slowly getting from whatamIdoingwithmylife to Ikindaknowwherethisisgoing.

[there's another wall of drawings and shirts I didn't get include]

It was really amazing to hear some of the comments and things happen to me, so I thought I'd share them here, don't get me wrong - I'm not bragging, because I have a complete understanding that I'm the biggest artnoob, so these comments are helping me to move forward and continue. ♥

One said, that they have no understanding of art or drawing and they are not interested in it one bit, but they went through the gallery with such interest and hoped that there's more in the next room. (There wasn't ;n; )
The headmaster of this Artschool I finished, said that this is their first ever graduate exhibition [I graduated 8 years ago, ohmy!] and people keep coming by every day to look at my work. (;u; <3)
There was a musician at the time of the opening and he performed a special song inspired by one of the paintings.
The next day I got couple of notifications from kids who were at the opening that day saying they admire my work, gosh, had they googled me? :'DD
I got to speak with some influential city council people, got like a ton of flowers and last week I was interviewed for a newspaper. At least I assume it was a newspaper. A lady and a photographer came over and they even had this little talk-recorder-thingy. :'D And the photographer kept snapping. ;n; I know I'll be some awkward sea lion again. -.-

Basically, this stuff doesn't happen to me. I mean, come on! It's so amazing and interesting.. whoa. I'm still in denial of the stuff that gets thrown at me from time to time. I cherish everything. ♥

Vakar bija pēdējā diena, taču Rīgā tuvākajās nedēļās mani stuffiņi būs vienā veikaliņā+galerijā, ja interesē. Tur gan laikam nebūs tik daudz, bet tomēr. ^^;
